There is a lot of signs pointing to this being the last days Elise is with us. I hate admitting it, but that seems to be true. I can't live day to day in a comfortable denial anymore.
Today marks six months since Elise's release from the hospital. It has been a crazy six months, but in that time Elise, Jasper, and I have done a lot together and have really enjoyed being together.
I'm thankful for that time we had together.

When Suanne said "hospice" I started to get worried. I'm praying for you all.

Cameron, Jasper, and Elise...I don't know what to say...I hope in the end Elise gets what she wants, to stay at home with her family. Elise, I'm thinking of you and praying for you and your family! You are a great friend and high school pe class was so much easier to get thru with you there, thank goodness!!! Thank you for being a GREAT friend and I"ll be praying for you! Take care, rest, relax and enjoy your family!

We met with a hospice social worker and nurse for over two hours last night. They were wonderful. Their assistance has already proven helpful to make Elise more comfortable as she spends her last days at home with her family. We are all very sad yet grateful for the time we are getting to be with her. Suanne

It's hard to say what I think will ease this time for you all. There are no words to do that. My heart aches for a pending loss of an angel on this earth. Hold on to each other in comfort for as long as you can.
I pray for all of you calm, quiet serenity.
